THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. 
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) 	RAINING RUBIES (J R Syster) was stubborn loading.
b)	CARS BIG AS BARS (A Fortune) and TIME FOR CHARITY (*K J Lihaba) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	SEVENTEEN AGAIN (M K Katjedi) failed to muster speed and trailed the field throughout. Thereafter, Jockey M K Katjedi reported that this filly did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine . 
b)	An inquiry will be opened to establish why ABBEY'S VIEW (C Maujean), MAVERICK QUEEN (C Habib), IT'S HER WAY (K A Brewer) and TIME FOR CHARITY (*K J Lihaba) were carried in at approximately the 300m. 
c)	Jockey M Yeni reported that LADY OF ARC did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
d)	RAINING RUBIES (J R Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
