THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	GOLDEN GREY (R Fourie) and CLIFFIE CLAVIN (C Maujean) over raced in the early and middle stages.
b)	HENRY'S HEDGE (C Little) was hanging in from the 300m.
c)	Jockey X Ndlovu reported that GLOBAL CHIEF changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
d)	Jockey C Zackey reported that AMERICAN MATADOR took a number of awkward strides in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
e)	Trainer K Mitchley was questioned regarding the improved performance of MASTER INCOLOR as opposed to this gelding's previous performances. She told the Stewards that this gelding had raced fitted with a tongue tie as he had shown improvement in his work at home when equipped as such. The Stewards noted her explanation and advised Trainer K Mitchley that she is to race MASTER INCOLOR with a tongue in future engagements.
