THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ALLTHEWAYFROMUSA (*P Mxoli) and BARDOLPHIA (C Habib) were stubborn loading. b) BARDOLPHIA (C Habib) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) COUNTESS DANZA (*K A Brewer), GIMME THE FLAME (R Danielson), SILVER CLOCK (J P v'd Merwe) and TRENTINO (D De Gouveia) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) From approximately the 300m, MISS DAISY (N Qaule) commenced to hang out, thereafter this filly ducked out sharply away from the crop and continued to hang out for the remainder of the race. Jockey N Qaule appeared before the Board, was shown patrol film of the race and was advised to make more of an effort to keep his mounts straight in races. b) MISS DAISY (N Qaule), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
