THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LE PREMIERE (*H Moosun) hit its mouth on the stall gates and thereafter jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths. b) ULTIMISSIMO (S Khathi) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ULTIMISSIMO (S Khathi) was bumped out when TUNE AGAIN (Y Ramzan) jumped outwards shortly after the start. b) STRING OF LIGHTS (MK Katjedi) was hanging out from the 250m. c) ULTIMISSIMO (S Khathi) struck the inside running rail at approximately the 500m. As a consequence, his saddle shifted sideways which resulted in Jockey S Khathi being unable to assist ULTIMISSIMO to the finish line. d) LE PREMIERE (*H Moosun) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1.
