THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WINDOW TO MY SOUL (S Hlengwa) lost 2 lengths. b) TICKALOX (N Patel) stood, losing 8 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) TICKALOX (N Patel) over-raced for a short distance on the early part of the turn. b) At the 500m PHIL THE FLUTER (A Fortune) took an awkward stride. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In the concluding stages AETHELWULF (D De Gouveia) was steadied in anticipation of the available run between TICKALOX (N Patel) and SERGEANT SOQRAT (G Lerena) closing. d) At the 100m Jockey R Danielson (DOIN' TIME) accidentally dropped his crop. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TICKALOX (N Patel), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 28.04.2025 to the 04.05.2025. TICKALOX may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M J Odendaal was advised.
