Stipes Report

The start of this race was delayed due to PARMENION (C F Dicken) being subject to a late Veterinary inspection. 
THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	During the loading process PARMENION (C F Dicken) became restless in the stalls. This gelding was removed from the stalls and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. 
b)	TIRPITZ (S Sosibo) lost 1 length. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	SHOEFELLA (T Godden) over-raced in the early and middle stages. 
b)	KING OF SPIN (S Veale) hung in from the 500m.
c)	At approximately the 200m TYRCONNELL (J P v'd Merwe) was inconvenienced off the heels of SHOEFELLA (T Godden) which rolled in marginally.
d)	ICY BLAST (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Mathew De Kock was advised (NS).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	BOWIE raced equipped with ear muffs and pacifiers, without cheek pieces (advised 23.04.2025/11h37).
b)	Apprentice M Mbuto (-4kg) was the rider of GOLDEN RULE : Permission was granted for this change as there were no riders available at the carded weight (advised 27.04.2025/15h25).
