THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 900m ANGEL OF MY HEART (M Yeni) was eased when tightened between the inside running rail and FIREBURST (S Khumalo) which rolled in marginally and was immediately corrected. b) Entering the straight SILKY JET (K Matsunyane) was switched in off the heels of FIREBURST (S Khumalo) to continue its run. c) ZENA ROSE (*J Botes) hung out from the 250m. d) The Board has adjourned to review an incident which led to Jockey M Yeni (ANGEL OF MY HEART) having to check, shortly before the finish. e) Apprentice B Marx-Jacobson (THESUPERNOVASTAR) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. f) FIREBURST (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
