THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	BIG CITY GIRL (R Munger) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	BROOKLYN BRIDGE broke down and Apprentice P Mxoli eased this filly out of the race from the 350m.
b)	At approximately the 300m, ENGLISH PRIMROSE (D Schwarz), which had come to the end of its run, had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between FUTURE PRINCESS (M Yeni) and MEET THE CAPTAIN (C Zackey), which rolled in.
c)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with WHAT GIVES in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
d)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning FUTURE PRINCESS, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer B D Botes advised.
e)	WARSHIP (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

f)	MEET THE CAPTAIN (C Zackey), placed fourth, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
