THE STARTER REPORTED A) TUFAAN was stubborn loading. B) THIS TIME ROUND was nervous in the stalls and was slow into stride. C) DAVEY CROCKETT was slow away and lost 2 lengths. D) LIKEABLE was stubborn loading and restless in the stalls. Was taken out, examined by the Course Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and was re-loaded, this caused a delay to the start of this race. Trainer T J Laing on behalf of Trainer J J van Vuuren was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. E) SEISMIC EVENT was nervous in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) DAVEY CROCKETT (*K A Brewer) which raced green, shifted out away from the crop approaching the 500m and had to be straightened. B) The winner NO GREATER LOVE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM). C) The second placed horse SEISMIC EVENT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer W G C Miller advised (LM).
