Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) While attempting to load DALMENY FACTOR (A Fortune), LANDOFTHERISINGSUN became restless in the stalls, which resulted in Jockey R Fourie dismounting and falling into the adjacent stall, which resulted in DALMENY FACTOR (A Fortune) being reluctant to load, causing a delay. b) WATER DRAGON (G Lerena) and ELEGANT NOBLE (M Mjoka) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SAIL TO THE MOON (M Yeni) pulled hard in the early stages. b) DALMENY FACTOR (A Fortune) was allowed to race in advance of the field in the early and middle stages. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (R Fourie), Trainer SJ Snaith will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. d) LANDOFTHERISINGSUN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
