THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	BACK FROM WAR (C Zackey) was stubborn loading.
b)	FAIR PROPOSAL (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
c)	HAZY DAZY (K Matsunyane) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Shortly after the start, HOPSCOTCH (*G Samo-Burthia) and NOTHING COMPARES (R Danielson) were awkwardly placed between FAIR PROPOSAL (M Yeni), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, and HAZY DAZY (K Matsunyane), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	GULF OF AMERICA (P Strydom) commenced to over-race in the early stages and took an awkward stride at the 600m. Thereafter, Jockey P Strydom reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report below, a veterinary report is required prior to racing. Rule 49.7 applies. 
c)	HAZY DAZY (K Matsunyane) shifted in both ways away from the crop from 400m.
d)	HOPSCOTCH (*G Samo-Burthia) shifted out away from the crop from the 250m. 
e)	BACK FROM WAR (C Zackey) hung out in the concluding stages. 	
f)	BACK FROM WAR (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
