THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	MUNCHKIN (C Zackey) and FLASH LIGHTNING (*N Baboo) came together and brushed shortly after the start. 
b)	SMASHING (R Fourie) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m.
c)	MUNCHKIN (C Zackey) shifted out sharply at the 200m and was corrected. 
d)	An Inquiry will be held in Jockey A Fortune (RAVILIOUS) use of the crop. 
e)	Trainer JVA Strydom was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to have available the registered colours of the owner/s of RAVILIOUS. Trainer JVA Strydom signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R250,00.
f)	Trainer JL van Heerden was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented COLD TRUTH incorrectly equipped in the parade ring. Trainer JL van Heerden signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a warning.
g)	Jockey L Mxothwa was charged with a contravention of Rule 21.13 in that he failed to fulfil his riding engagement on WAR SWORD. Jockey L Mxothwa signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.00.
h)	WORDSWORTH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WGC Miller was advised. (LM)
