THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DREAM SCAPE (Y Ramzan) fly-jumped leaving the stalls. b) LIGHT OF DAY (C Habib), THREE CHEERS (L Mxothwa), SWEET NOTHINGS (S Khumalo) and DUMISANI (MK Katjedi) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) IN THE GREEN ZONE (M Yeni) over raced in the early and middle stages. b) DUMISANI (JL van Heerden) was hanging from the 200m. c) ASPOESTERTJIE (*N Baboo) shifted both ways away from the crop at the 200m. d) DUMISANI (MK Katjedi) was hanging in from the 300m and thereafter Jockey MK Katjedi dropped his crop at the 100m. e) In view of the performance of HAPHAZARD (A Fortune) (Betting 5/1; Distance 5.85 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) In view of the performance of LIGHT OF DAY (C Habib) (Betting 25/2; Distance 32.10 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. g) IN THE GREEN ZONE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
