THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS CHARMER (S Moodley) was stubborn to load. b) SHESHA NTOMBI (C Habib), ALEX MILLER (S Veale) and SPLASH OF LOVE (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MISS MAYFLY (T Godden) commenced to give ground to the field from the 200m. b) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning MISS MAYFLY, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. (Suspension dates 11.05.2025 - 09.07.2025 bdi). Trainer P M Gadsby was advised (MB). c) In the concluding stages K M V Retrofit (S Khumalo) which hung out throughout, and SHESHA NTOMBI (C Habib) which hung in from the 300m, came together and bumped. As a result both these fillies were unbalanced. d) SHESHA NTOMBI (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead was advised (NS).
