THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUSHING BLOOM (G Lerena) was stubborn loading. b) TIN PAN ALLEY (C Zackey) and BLUSHING BLOOM (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WINCHESTER (Wes Marwing) over-raced in the early stages. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with BLUSHING BLOOM in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) CHARMING CHEETAH (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R Klaasen advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) BLUSHING BLOOM: Jockey G Lerena weighed out at 56,4kg, 1,5kg over the carded weight of which 1kg was declared.
