THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FARAWAY GIRL (MK Katjedi) and VINO RIOJA (M van Rensburg) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SILVAN MISTRESS (R Fourie) over raced in the early and middle stages. b) SILVAN MISTRESS (R Fourie) had to be steadied for a number of strides when awkwardly placed on the heels of GOLDEN CROC (C Little), which shifted out at approximately the 350m. Jockey C Little was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of GOLDEN CROC, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SILVAN MISTRES at the 300m. Jockey C Little signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. (Dates to be advised) c) BAROLO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer DG Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised.
