THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process ICY ELEANOR (S Veale) became restless and rushed the front gates. b) TEQUILA SKY (S Moodley) lost 1 length. c) JANE'S VISION (S Hlengwa) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) PRANKSTER (N Patel) and BLOWIN IN THE WIND (A Mgudlwa) came together and bumped shortly after the start. b) PRINCESS HANNAH (T Godden) hung in from the 300m. c) At the 100m RUGGER LOVER (S Khumalo) which shifted out away from the crop and HAPPY ANALIA (K Matsunyane) which commenced to hang in from the 250m, came together and bumped. d) In the concluding stages ICY ELEANOR (S Veale) commenced to give ground to the field. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) PRINCESS HANNAH (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
