THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	AVOONTOAST (P Strydom) was slow losing two lengths.
b)	I AM REGAL (M K Katjedi) was slow losing one length.
c)	KEY WORKER (K Matsunyane) and COFFEEBERRY (*G Dookhit) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 900m, AVOONTOAST (P Strydom) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the inside of SAY IT WITH ROSES (*G Samo-Burthia), which shifted in sharply and was corrected. 
b)	At approximately the 150m, PLAY WITH FIRE (S Khumalo) was switched in to avoid running onto the heels of FREE IN SEATTLE (C Habib), which shifted out away from the crop. 
c)	Jockey J R Syster's (ELEMBEE) crop was accidentally struck from his grasp by Jockey G Lerena (DIMAKO'S JET) at the 100m. 	
d)	Jockey P Strydom appeared before the Board and was questioned regarding his ride on AVOONTOAST. He explained that after being slow away, he was forced to sit further back in the field than he had originally planned. He further explained that turning for home, he suffered a loss of momentum through minor interference from SAY IT WITH ROSES (*G Samo-Burthia), which rolled onto him. Thereafter, this filly had stayed on one paced and had not produced her strong finishing effort of her run on the 27 March 2025.
e)	In view of the performance of AVOONTOAST (P Strydom), (distance 4,50 lengths, betting 4/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.	
f)	P Mxoli reported that WAY TO BURN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
g)	FREE IN SEATTLE (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
