a)	HALF MOON ISLAND (M van Rensburg) jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride.
b)	GREY WARRIOR (R Fourie) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	PICK A POMODORO (C Habib) and SUPREME JUDGE (C Zackey) over raced in the early and middle stages.
b)	PICK A POMODORO (C Habib) was hanging out from the 400m.
c)	ACTION AMERICA (C Little) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 350m.
d)	Jockey C Little reported that ACTION AMERICA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
	Trainer JP Nel was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this colt on his return to the stables.
e)	In view of the performance of HALF MOON ISLAND (M van Rensburg) which was not persevered with in the latter stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
