THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1300m MASTER FUEGO (A Mgudlwa) and KING PELLES (N Patel) were carried out marginally by AFRICAN SKYLINE (S Moodley) which was directed outwards away from the heels of PACAYA (K Matsunyane) which was steadied momentarily in anticipation of running onto the heels of ROYAL VICTORY (D Daniels) which rolled in. Jockey D Daniels (ROYAL VICTORY) appeared before the Board and was advised to be more mindful of the proximity of other riders in races. b) In view of the performance of AFRICAN SKYLINE (S Moodley) (6.40 lengths, 4/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) DAVE THE KING (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M De Kock was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey A Mgudlwa was the rider of MASTER FUEGO (advised 18.05.2025/07h33). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
