Stipes Report

During the loading process IKIGAI (K Matsunyane) became restless and kicked the back gates. This resulted in FAMOUS WARRIOR (C Murray) pre-empting the start and rushing the front gates. Both horses were released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. This caused a delay to the start of this race. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	During the loading process IKIGAI (K Matsunyane) and FAMOUS WARRIOR (C Murray) became restless. These horses were released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race.
b)	ALL THE TIME (*M Mbuto) lost 1 length. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Shortly after the start MR HOTSTEPPER (S Moodley) was buffeted between IMPOSING (S Hlengwa) which jumped outwards and FAMOUS WARRIOR (C Murray). 
b)	Leaving the 1000m when racing in restricted room TIRPITZ (S Sosibo) and ALL THE TIME (*M Mbuto) came together and brushed on two occasions. Thereafter, at the 350m ALL THE TIME (*M Mbuto) was switched to the outside of the field to obtain clear running. 
c)	In view of the performances of MR HOTSTEPPER (S Moodley) and FAMOUS WARRIOR (C Murray) which commenced to give ground to the field from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	Jockey C Little reported that HAT'S PRIDE took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	STARS IN HEAVEN (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) was advised (SP).
