THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JET MIRAGE (N Takawira) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ABAYYAAN (K A Brewer) over-raced in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, this gelding compounded from the 200m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey M K Katjedi reported that ADMIRALS CHANCE took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this horse. c) TOM'S DINER (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Mallet, acting on behalf of Trainer G Macleod, was advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
