During the loading process LITTLE CRACKER (*M Mbuto) became restless in the stalls. This gelding was released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. This caused a delay to the start of this race. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process LITTLE CRACKER (*M Mbuto) became restless in the stalls. Released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. b) PEMBURY (S Veale), VICTOR HUGO (G Lerena) and STAR IN MOTION (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) VICTOR HUGO (G Lerena) and BANGLADESH (R Danielson) came together and bumped shortly after the start. b) Leaving the starting stalls STAR IN MOTION (S Moodley) was squeezed out between CAPTAIN CLEVER (A Mgudlwa) and LITTLE CRACKER (*M Mbuto) which jumped out. c) CAPTAIN CLEVER (A Mgudlwa) hung in from the 300m. d) BANGLADESH (R Danielson) raced green. e) VICTOR HUGO (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
