THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE.

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	GOT THE FEELING (R Danielson) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	SUMMER SHADE (L Nhlapo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	EMBER KING (*K J Lihaba) and PALACE PRINCE (S Moodley) were slow losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	ROCK MUSIC (C Habib) raced fiercely between the 1000m and 800m. Thereafter, tired badly in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. 
b)	EMBER KING (*K J Lihaba) commenced to give ground to the field in the concluding stages. In view of this performance , the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.		
c)	In view of the performance of JOHNNY DRAMA (K Matsunyane), (distance 7,40 lengths, betting 28/10), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.	
d)	Jockey P Mxoli reported that PRAETORIAN did not stride out freely in running.
