THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GIDEON'S DAUGHTER (X Ndlovu) was nervous in the stalls and slow into stride. b) CHERE FOR ME (C Maujean) jumped slow, losing one length. c) FIRST WISH (R Fourie) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FIRST WISH (R Fourie) had to steady momentarily to avoid running onto the heels of FLIGHT DISPLAY (S Naidoo) at approximately the 600m. b) CHERE FOR ME (C Maujean) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the inside of GREENLITEALLTHEWAY (MK Katjedi), which shifted in slightly at the 500m. c) GREENLITEALLTHEWAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
