THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RHUM DE VIE (K Matsunyane) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) MY EYES NEVER LIE (S Moodley) was slow losing two lengths. c) MOHER CLIFFS (C Habib) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly before the start was effected, ON THE RUN (G Lerena) in stall gate 1 became restless and rushed the front gates. This filly was released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. b) QUEEN'S PACT (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
