THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In a slow run race in the early stages GAVEL STRIKE (S Khuamlo) and LUCKY DANCER (D Dillon) over-raced and were difficult to settle. b) KUUMA (W Kennedy) shifted out sharply away from the crop at the 150m. c) KUUMA (W Kennedy) returned post-race having cast the left hind shoe. d) SPIRIT OF MY FATE (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
