The start of this Race was delayed due to the lead horses having to be returned to the saddling enclosure. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GIVE ME EVERYTHING (C Zackey) and WORLD OF ALICE (C Murray) lost one length. b) MY SOUL MATE (M Yeni) lost two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Entering the first turn at approximately the 2100m, KNOCKOUT (R Fourie) was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of SHE'S A BOMBER (A Mgudlwa). b) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with GIVE ME EVERYTHING in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) SHE'S A BOMBER (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright was advised (SP). d) MY SOUL MATE (M Yeni), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Dawson was advised (DZ).
