THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SPLASH OF LOVE (M Yeni) and SHEEZAROCKET (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) As the start was effected DEE DAY (C F Dicken) was bumped by LET'S GO TO WAR (*N Nastili) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. b) LINE IN THE SKY (*T Mayhew) raced wide and without cover around the turn and into the straight and thereafter was not persevered with in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report regarding LINE IN THE SKY (*T Mayhew), this filly is suspended in terms of Rule 49.7 and a Veterinary Certificate is required prior to racing. Trainer M Pandaram will be advised. d) FINE WINE (R Fourie) hung in from the 350m. e) CANYOUDOTHEHULA (*M Mbuto) took an awkward stride shortly before the finish. f) CANYOUDOTHEHULA (*M Mbuto), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
