THE STARTER REPORTED: a) INTUITIVE SPIRIT (*T Mayhew) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 600m MASTER BOMBER (C Little) was carried out marginally by THE WOLF (T Godden) which was directed outwards off the heels of TIN CUP (*J Botes). b) Apprentice T Mayhew reported that he felt something amiss with INTUITIVE SPIRIT in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Trainer F Robinson was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that he failed to notify the Chief Stipendiary Steward within two days that the horse INTUITIVE SPIRIT is a gelding. Trainer F Robinson signed an admission of guilt and a penalty of a fine of R500 was imposed. d) GURKHA (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Kannemeyer was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Habib replaced Jockey R Fourie on MY BOY LOLLIPOP (Stewards' permission, with mutual consent from all parties) (24.06.2025/12h44). b) MASTER BOMBER raced without blinkers (advised 22.06.2025/20h16). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) INTUITIVE SPIRIT is a gelding : Gelded 09.03.2025. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) INTUITIVE SPIRIT : Nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS : DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: a) None.
