THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CODEWORD (*G Samo-Burthia) hung in from the 500m to the 300m. b) After racing prominently throughout, ENCHANTED ROYAL (P Mxoli) tired from the 300m and commenced to give ground to the field. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with FLIGHTLIGHT in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) CURTISS CONDOR (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
