THE STARTER REPORTED: a) POURSOMESUGARONME (S Moodley) lost 1 length. b) DAFNES DAUGHTER (J P v'd Merwe) fly-jumped leaving the stalls and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) EMERALD GREEN (*J Botes) raced wide in the early stages. b) BLOWIN IN THE WIND (A Mgudlwa) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) In the concluding stages DAFNES DAUGHTER (J P v'd Merwe) which hung in from the 350m, was inconvenienced when close to the heels of BLOWIN IN THE WIND (A Mgudlwa). d) Jockey K Matsunyane (HAPPY ANALIA) reported that this filly coughed post-race.
