THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey D Daniels (KARVANI) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter, Jockey D Daniels reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer D Swanson was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of KARVANI on return to stables. b) THE OCTAGON (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Mallet, acting on behalf of Trainer A Parham, was advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
