Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	ANATOLIAN SILVER (C Habib) and HOLOCENE (X Ndlovu) jumped slow, losing one length. 
b)	MASTER FORESTER (R Fourie) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	PEDRO (C Maujean) took an awkward stride shortly after the start.
b)	MASTER FORESTER (R Fourie) over raced in the early and middle stages and was hanging in from the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
c)	LAGUNA VERDE (Y Ramzan), which raced wide without cover on the bend and into the straight and raced in isolation towards the middle outside of the course, parallel to the outside rail, shifted inwards away from the crop at the 400m and was immediately corrected.
d)	CHEEKY LADDIE (G Lerena), which was hanging in, shifted inwards at the 400m and was corrected at the 250m.
e)	PEDRO (C Maujean) was baulked momentarily between the 300m and the 250m.
f)	Jockey C Little reported that he felt something amiss with BRENDEN JAMES. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer JP Nel was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
g)	INNAMORARE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer TJ Laing, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised. (LM)
