THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) GREEN MANDARIN (MK Katjedi) was carried inwards by GIMME MORE TIME (M Yeni), which was in turn carried inwards by GLOBAL ALLY (C Habib) between the 400m and the 350m. Thereafter, GREEN MANDARIN (MK Katjedi) shifted inwards to avoid running onto the heels of FIREALLEY (G Lerena). As a consequence, PEACE IN OUR WORLD (L Mxothwa), which was racing on the inside of GREEN MANDARIN (MK Katjedi), clipped heels, stumbled and fell. Jockey MK Katjedi was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider GREEN MANDARIN, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PEACE IN OUR WORLD leaving the 350m. Jockey MK Katjedi signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of 14 days.
