Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	TIME FOR LOVE (G Lerena) was stubborn loading and jumped awkwardly.
b)	GIMMETHATPEARL (M Yeni) was nervous in the stalls.
c)	ZINIKELE (X Ndlovu), GRANDIOSA (S Khathi) and GREENLITEALLTHEWAY (MK Katjedi) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	An Inquiry will be held into the reason LUNA HALO (R Fourie) and ROYALS (C Little) had to steady for a number of strides at the 450m.
b)	Leaving the 100m LADY SILVANO (S Naidoo) had to be steadied when carried inwards by TIME FOR LOVE (G Lerena), which was in turn carried in by SPLICETHEMAINBRACE (C Habib), which shifted inwards away from the crop and was immediately corrected. 
	Jockey C Habib appeared before the Board and was advised to react timeously when his mounts shift ground in running.
c)	Jockey X Ndlovu reported that ZINIKELE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
d)	GIMMETHATPEARL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer TJ Laing, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised. (LM)
