THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE MASK (*B Marx-Jacobson) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) BOOM SHAKALAKA (*J Botes) which over-raced in the early and middle stages, tired rapidly in the concluding stages. b) Approaching the 800m THE MASK (*B Marx-Jacobson) which over-raced in the early stages, was steadied on multiple occasions when awkwardly placed between PREEMPTIVE STRIKE (S Veale) and MASTERBLING (S Hlengwa). c) In the concluding stages INTREPID (G Lerena) was directed outwards away from the heels of MASTERBLING (S Hlengwa) which hung in from the 300m. d) WING WALKER (C Little), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L V Woodruff was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BOOM SHAKALAKA raced equipped with blinkers and fitted with a tongue tie (advised 10.07.2025/14h19). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) MASTERBLING : Cut into right hind and returned post-race having cast the right hind shoe.
