THE STARTER REPORTED: a) The tongue tie on AIR BORN LADY (S Khathi) was re-fitted at the start. b) TUNE AGAIN (*B Plaatjies) took an awkward stride leaving the stalls. c) AIR BORN LADY (S Khathi) and KILMONIVAIG (X Ndlovu) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BENEATH THE MOON (C Maujean) was hanging in from the 300m. b) STRANGE MAGIC (*N Nastili) shifted inwards from the 150m and was corrected shortly before the finish line. c) Jockey C Habib reported that SWEET JULIA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of AIR BORN LADY (S Khathi), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the performance of TUNE AGAIN (*B Plaatjies), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Trainer L Lotz was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this mare on her return to the stables. f) MARSHMALLOW, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
