THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, CYBER SPIRIT (*M Mbuto) was brushed out by CHILLI MARMALADE (K Matsunyane), which rolled outwards leaving the stalls. b) At approximately the 250m, TRUE HERO (R Danielson), when racing green, hung in towards JIKELELE (P Mxoli) and as a consequence took a number of awkward strides. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine TRUE HERO. c) SUMMER SHADE (L Nhlapo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee A Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer B Webber, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SUMMER SHADE raced equipped with alumites (declared 16 July 2025 at 09H40) and blinkers (declared 16 July 2025 at 09H44). b) CYBER SPIRIT raced equipped with blinkers and without a tongue tie (declared 17 July 2025 at 12H32).
