THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WALKIE TALKIE (*B Marx-Jacobson) and LADY MY LADY (*J Botes) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1950m SHINY BOB (*M Mbuto) was carried out by OUR LADY FATE (T Godden) which rolled outwards on the early part of the turn and was corrected. b) Leaving the 200m OUR LADY FATE (T Godden) was brushed on two occasions by WALKIE TALKIE (*B Marx-Jacobson) which shifted out away from the crop. c) Jockey S Hlengwa reported that he felt something amiss with TRUE TROJAN in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of SHINY BOB (*M Mbuto) (4.80 lengths, 33/10 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) BAD MEDICINE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Rich acting on behalf of Trainer A Wright was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
