THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ICY ELEANOR (C Murray) was stubborn to load. b) GORGEOUS GIRL (J Jacobs) and TEQUILA SKY (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start GORGEOUS GIRL (J Jacobs) was bumped and squeezed out when awkwardly placed between BLOWIN IN THE WIND (A Mgudlwa) which jumped inwards and AYUWI YUWI (*S Valjalo) which jumped outwards sharply leaving the starting stalls. b) Jockey A Mgudlwa reported that BLOWIN IN THE WIND took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey S Moodley reported that he felt something amiss with TEQUILA SKY in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) VISION TO ACHIEVE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P M Gadsby was advised (SP).
