THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SUPREME FATE (L Mxothwa) jumped slow, losing one length.
a)	WEHAVEASITUATION (JP van der Merwe) was slow into stride. 
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start GARDEN OF EDEN (D Ashby) was inconvenienced on the outside of TAP SHOES (A Domeyer), which shifted out and was immediately straightened.
b)	DIXIELAND BAND (*S Bungane) raced wide on the turn and into the straight.
c)	TAKE IT AS RED (*B Plaatjies) commenced to hang out on the latter part of the turn and thereafter was hanging out in the straight.
d)	Jockey D Ashby reported that GARDEN OF EDEN choked up in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
e) 	Jockeys C Zackey and L Mxothwa reported that they felt something amiss with BLOSSOMING MIND and SUPREME FATE respectively. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. 
f)	Trainer VH Marshall was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented PRINCESS OF BAYEUX incorrectly equipped in the parade ring. Trainer VH Marshall signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R250.00.
g)	LAVENDER BAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer WA Nel was advised. (SC)
