THE STARTER REPORTED 

A)	ABIA kicked the back gate in the stalls.
B)	OPERA SWING and DIAMONDS AND TOADS were slow into stride.
C)	MISS VENEZUELA was slow away and lost 1 length.
D)	TRIP TO FREEDOM was stubborn loading, reared and sat down in the stalls. Was taken out, examined by the Course Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and was re-loaded. The starting stall certificate for this mare is withdrawn.
E)	MONASHADA was stubborn loading.
F)	WILD CREATURE and SOLLER were nervous and kicked the back gate in the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED

A)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to TRIP TO FREEDOM (E Webber), this mare's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable in the stalls. Suspension dates: 09 April 2022 to 15 April 2022 both days included. TRIP TO FREEDOM may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer K Naidoo was advised.  
B)	Jockey L Mxothwa signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 55.4 (read in conjunction with the Guidelines on overweight) in that he was unable to weigh out at the weight confirmed in his riding engagement to ride MASTERS QUEEN for Trainer J P Nel. A penalty of a R1500 fine was imposed.
C)	The winner GOLIGHTLY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM).
