Stipes Report
The start of this Race was delayed due to the 33-minute interval between Races as well as MASTER BOMBER (C Little) having to be resaddled at the start. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RODRIGUEZ (J Gates) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) As the start was effected, WHITE SEAHORSE (S Moodley) was squeezed out between RAGNAR THE KING (C Habib) and MASTER BOMBER (C Little) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. b) MASTER BOMBER (C Little) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) CONTINENTALEXPRESS (C Zackey) hung in from the 300m. d) In view of the performance of KING'S ISLAND (R Venniker) (5.45 lengths, 28/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) WHITE SEAHORSE (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer J Buckler acting for Trainer G S Kotzen was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MASTER BOMBER raced equipped with blinkers (advised 31.07.2025/07h52).
