Stipes Report

Upon arrival at the start, it was established that the buckle on Jockey A Mgudlwa's (BLAZING LIGHT) surcingle broke. A replacement surcingle was sought and despatched to the start. This led to the lengthy delay to this Race.

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	Fair start. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Jockey A Mgudlwa's (BLAZING LIGHT) equipment was inspected, and the Board was satisfied that this was an unusual occurrence as the equipment was in otherwise good condition. 
b)	Shortly after the start, RICCARDO (S Moodley) which was slow into stride, was squeezed out between STAR OF THE FUTURE (C Zackey) which jumped outwards and SPECTACULAR (C Dicken) which jumped inwards.
c)	In view of the performance of TIN CUP (*J Botes) which came under pressure from the 900m and compounded in the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	Leaving the 400m, STAR OF THE FUTURE (C Zackey) was buffeted when racing in restricted room between SYX HOTFIX (S Veale) and SHINY BOB (*M Mbuto). 
e)	RICCARDO (S Moodley) had difficulty securing clear running between the 300m and 150m. 
f)	In view of the performance of HEARTS ON FIRE (J Gates) which tired rapidly entering the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
g)	STAR OF THE FUTURE (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson was advised (SP).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	Jockey S Veale was the rider of SYX HOTFIX. Reserve runner (advised 30.07.25/8h55).
