THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE EQUATOR (IRE) (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, ROYAL EDITION (*M Mbuto) was bumped in onto KING'S EXPRESS (M Yeni), by THE EQUATOR (IRE) (G Lerena), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. As a consequence of this, KING'S EXPRESS (M Yeni) lost ground to the field. b) THE EQUATOR (IRE) (G Lerena) hung in in the concluding stages. c) THE EQUATOR (IRE) (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
