Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: b) WANTAGE (K Brewer) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey D Daniels was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride JAEGER MOON out to the end of the race, where circumstances permitted, to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards. Jockey Daniels signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined $50. b) Jockey Daniels was advised that when assessing penalty, the Stewards acknowledged that he had won the race comfortably, however he had affected the winning margin by easing the gelding down at least 100m before the finish. c) JAEGER MOON (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (AH). JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) IDEAL VIEW raced without blinkers. b) ZAZU was ridden by Jockey P Mxoli. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
