THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RUSH HOUR (*J Botes) and BARRY'S BOY (C Murray) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the 800m BOARDWALK BREEZE (M Yeni) was brushed out on two occasions by TASTE THE RAINBOW (S Veale) which rolled out and was corrected. b) In view of the performances of DEVOTED (C Zackey) and RATTLE THE PEACE (J Gates) which were not persevered with from the 200m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Apprentice D D Louw (TWOCANTANGO) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. d) TOWN CRIER (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
