Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	HUGSANDHIGHFIVES (C Zackey) was nervous in the stalls and stood awkwardly.
b)	YOU'RE SO SPECIAL (*N Nastili) was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing two lengths.
c)	BENEATH THE MOON (C Maujean) jumped awkwardly with its head up.
d) 	KILMONIVAIG (X Ndlovu) jumped slow, losing two lengths. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h23)
b)	Shortly after the start, TRUE DESIGN (*S Valjalo) and KOMESANS PASSION (Y Ramzan) were buffeted and had to check when awkwardly placed between BENEATH THE MOON (C Maujean), which jumped awkwardly and THREAD OF LIFE (C Little), which jumped inwards.
c)	HUGSANDHIGHFIVES (C Zackey) had to steady momentarily and lost position when buffeted between KOMESANS PASSION (Y Ramzan), which jumped inwards and TRUE DESIGN (*S Valjalo), which jumped outwards slightly shortly after the start. In this incident, HUGSANDHIGHFIVES (C Zackey) clipped the heels of TRUE DESIGN (*S Valjalo).
d)	THREAD OF LIFE (C Little) and POMODORO MAGIC (*J Botes) were hanging in from the 400m.
e)	BENEATH THE MOON (C Maujean) was hanging in from the 400m and was corrected at the 200m.	
f)	Trainer SB Kotzen was charged with a contravention of Rule 57.1.2 in that she failed to ensure that DRESSEDTOTHENINES was presented in the security area at least 60 minutes before the official starting time of the seventh (7th) race. Trainer SB Kotzen signed Admission of Guilt and was fined R2500,00. 
g)	SMASHING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
