THE STARTER REPORTED: a) POMOZELOUS (J Mariba) and COUNT YOUR CHANCES (*M Mbuto) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) ROSY LEMON (*J Botes) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, GOLD DE GRACE (*G Samo-Burthia) was carried in marginally by STOP THE TRAFFIC (P Mxoli), which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened. b) In view of the performance of SILVER FLARE (*G Dookhit), (distance 10,00 lengths, betting 5/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer T Zackey was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of SILVER FLARE on return to stables. c) Apprentice J Botes reported that ROSY LEMON made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) STOP THE TRAFFIC (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer E Le Grange advised (AH).
